Carlita returns with her sophomore album, Telepathy, arriving November 6 via Ninja Tune. The Turkish-Italian producer, DJ and instrumentalist has emerged as one of dance music’s most exciting new voices, combining her classical training on cello and piano with forward thinking electronic production.
Telepathy expands Carlita’s club rooted sound through songwriting, production and her most ambitious cast of collaborators yet. The album features include SOFI TUKKER, Justine Skye, Malive, Stevie Appleton, Paige Cavell and Cleo Simone, moving naturally between electronic music, contemporary pop and alternative sounds. Its themes of telepathy, magical realism and human connection extend into a visual world developed alongside creative director Pedro Damasceno and acclaimed photographer Rafael Pavarotti, whose recent work includes Charli XCX and Madonna.
The album arrives at the peak of a remarkable period of growth for Carlita. Since the release of her debut album in late 2024, she has added 230K followers across platforms and increased monthly listeners by 1.4M. That momentum has accelerated through the release of “Patchwork” earning her first BBC Radio 1 Hottest Record, while SOFI TUKKER collaboration “Manhattan” became her first BBC Radio 1 B-List record and has surpassed 5.5M total streams and 42K Shazams.
